SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: LUKE GALLOWS & KARL ANDERSON VS. THE BLUDGEON BROTHERS (c)

Good opportunity for Gallows & Anderson and I hope they get more in the future, but it’s not yet time for them to take the gold, and it’s not yet time for the Bludgeons to lose the straps.

PREDICTION: The Bludgeon Brothers retain

 

DANIEL BRYAN VS. BIG CASS

Bryan does not need a win for credibility while Cass does. I expect Bryan to be in the main event very, very soon, and I expect Cass to possibly move to a feud with Jeff Hardy for the US Title.

PREDICTION: Big Cass

 

SETH ROLLINS VS. ELIAS

Elias is extremely entertaining, but… no.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins

 

ROMAN REIGNS VS. JINDER MAHAL

Jinder is not entertaining at all, and… no. It also unfortunately looks like we’re heading for another Reigns and Lesnar match at Summerslam.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns

 

SAMI ZAYN VS. BOBBY LASHLEY

They finally had one good week of this terrible feud. Lashley goes over, but really, who cares?

RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RONDA ROUSEY VS. NIA JAX (c)

I think they’re going to pull the trigger on Ronda here. Nia was a good champion as a face but for some reason they decided that wasn’t the direction they wanted to go, and now it feels like she’s just a placeholder. Unfortunately I think Ronda will end up being a Brock Lesnar-type champion and we won’t see much of the title on TV after tonight until she drops it.

PREDICTION: New champion, Ronda Rousey

 

SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: ASUKA VS. CARMELLA (c)

James Ellsworth returns to help Carmella win the match, which blows because I feel like they’ve nearly ruined Asuka to the point that she’s no longer anything special.

PREDICTION: Carmella retains

 

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: SHINSUKE NAKAMURA VS. AJ STYLES (c)

I think we’re on the brink of a Shinsuke Nakamura-Daniel Bryan main event feud, and for that to happen, Shinsuke would need to win the title, which I think is what happens tonight. The thing I HATE about modern Last Man Standing matches is that one guy will hit a basic clothesline or a punch, then he’ll stand there while the ref starts to count. The other guy will hit a scoop slam, then stand there while the ref counts. It’s fucking lame. We know, if the ref gets to 10 it’s over. Make it believable and logical, for the love of the gods.

PREDICTION: New WWE Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura

 

WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: NATALYA VS. ALEXA BLISS VS. CHARLOTTE FLAIR VS. SASHA BANKS VS. BECKY LYNCH VS. LANA VS. EMBER MOON VS. NAOMI

The briefcase usually goes to a heel, and even though she’s been mostly getting face reactions lately, I think Lana would be the trendy choice here. However, there’s a different heel who I think gets an even better benefit.

PREDICTION: Alexa Bliss

 

MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: THE MIZ VS. BRAUN STROWMAN VS. SAMOA JOE VS. KEVIN OWENS VS. FINN BALOR VS. RUSEV VS. BOBBY ROODE

What I REALLY want to see happen is for Strowman to win the match and not leave the ring until Brock Lesnar arrives. Strowman has a damn good shot at winning this, and I think of how creative they could be with that.
