TONI STORM VS. DAKOTA KAI
These two really seem to complement each other well. Toni Storm is going to win this match, but Kai will put up a big fight. Storm will continue to get a big push and get big wins on her way to the top. They are really building her the right way.
Kai is such an excellent striker with her forearms and especially her kicks. Storm thwarts Kai’s attack with a big headbutt that knocks both women down. Kai with another flurry of kicks, and Storm counters again, this time with a hard German suplex. Kai with more kicks! This is excellent action. Storm ends it with Storm Zero after another really good German suplex. That was really good and really fun. Both women shake hands and hug after the match.
Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley are two of my absolute favorites in the world right now, and they are the absolute antithesis of each other. Ripley is one of the best heels in the business and Storm is a quintessential babyface. They could feud for the next 15-20 years and I’d be happy.
Jinny makes a statement by attacking Dakota Kai on the stage as she leaves. Fuck Jinny.

AMIR JORDAN VS. ZACK GIBSON
I have no idea what the crowd is singing, but Gibson is so talented that he’s incorporating it into the match psychology. He’s telling Jordan to ignore the crowd and focus on Gibson. Jordan hits a HARD cross body, that looked painful as hell. Gibson works hard on Jordan’s arm, a good idea to set up Gibson’s Shankly Gates wristlock finisher.
These guys are great in the ring together. Gibson has been in control and Jordan’s selling is great. Jordan a move in here and there, but Gibson is all over him every time. He hits his Helter Skelter driver to set up the Shankly Gates finisher, and Jordan taps immediately. Gibson is an amazingly good heel, and I’d love to see what he and Tommaso Ciampa could do together someday, either as a team or as opponents.
Match Rating: Eight Gold Medals
Gibson stays in the ring to cut a promo as the crowd boos mercilessly. The crowd can boo all they want, everything Gibson says is true. They start singing “Zack Gibson’s a wanker.” He has them in the palm of his hands. This is excellent. Trent Seven comes out to interrupt, and I really hope they have a match next week. Seven says something about Gibson making people take their shoes off and it leads to a crowd chant. Must be a British thing. Seven challenges Gibson but Gibson leaves. Gibson just had a match, so I don’t think he’s really being a chicken shit at this point, but he’d probably leave even if he hadn’t just wrestled.
Zack Gibson Promo Rating: Eight Roddy Pipers
KENNY WILLIAMS VS. JORDAN DEVLIN
This feels like a 205 Live match, which is a big compliment. Williams does a cool dropkick through the second rope call the Wrecking Ball. He hits a huge back elbow off the top rope to a standing Devlin that looked awesome. Williams also does something that looked like a Styles Clash, but he did it while he was being held in the air by Devlin. Devlin hits some kind of faceplant driver to take the win, but I think Williams really stole the show. Nigel said Devlin calls that move Ireland’s Call, and it looks kind of like a package piledriver.
Match Rating: Seven Gold Medals
They tease a “huge announcement” from Johnny Saint next week.
MARK ANDREWS, ASHTON SMITH, & FLASH MORGAN WEBSTER VS. WOLFGANG & THE COFFEY BROTHERS
At least when Andrews and Morgan are in there for the face team, it’s size and strength vs. speed and agility. Smith looks a lot more powerful but also fast and agile in his own right. Andrews/Rubber Man hits a hurracanrana on Wolfgang but some interference gets him beaten up by Joe Coffey on the outside.
After that the heels get control of Andrews and wear him down. Andrews finally counters a suplex with the Stundog Millionaire and makes the hot tag to Webster, who takes down all of the much larger heels. Webster makes a tag to Smith who goes to work on a groggy Wolfgang. Another distraction by Mark Coffey, and Smith gets slammed by Wolfgang. This heel group works so well together.
Mark Coffey hits Smith with a pop-up uppercut, but Smith gets knocked into his own corner and Andrews tags in. Webster tags in, Smith and Andrews take out the Coffeys, but Wolfgang gives Webster a permanent face tattoo with a massive lariat. Webster with a somersault from the top rope to the outside takes out EVERYONE. Back in the ring, Webster gets speared by Wolfgang and Joe Coffey hits a discus clothesline to give the heels the win. Great tag match.
