TEAM MONSTER ECLIPSE (BRAUN STROWMAN & EMBER MOON) VS. TEAM PAWZ (KEVIN OWENS & NATALYA)
Let’s not pretend we’re here to see anything other than Braun Strowman smashing Kevin Owens. However, I do love watching Ember Moon wrestle. I love Owens pleading with Natalya, “Don’t let her tag!” Owens’ insults are entertaining. “Congratulations, you’re eight years old.”
I love watching Natalya too. A power bomb into a Sharpshooter nearly wins the amtch for her team, but with some major help from Strowman, Ember Moon survives and makes the tag. I have a feeling that Ember is gonna take the loss for her team. We get what we came for and see Strowman throttle KO on the outside with her brutal running shoulder block, but Strowman tried it one too many times as KO caught him with a kick and tossed him over the announce table.
I was wrong about the finish, as Ember awesome hits an eclipse off the shoulders of Strowman to pick up the win, much to the chagrin of whoever will face them in the second round. Strowman’s shoulders are definitely a more solid base than the top ropes.

DAY ONE GLOW (JIMMY USO & NAOMI) VS. PHENOMENAL FLAIR (AJ STYLES & CHARLOTTE FLAIR
All four competitors seem to be having a lot of fun. And holy shit, Charlotte actually hit her moonsault for the first time in forever! I loved AJ jumping off of Charlotte’s back. Amidst some chaos Charlotte locks the figure four in on JIMMY USO before Naomi breaks it up with a splash from the top rope and goes for a pin. AJ breaks up the pin, and Naomi hits AJ with the Rear View before Charlotte locks in the Figure Eight for the win. I loved this frenetic finish.
