BREAKING NEWS: WWE Removes Ticket Link for Crown Jewel

It’s looking more and more likely by the day that WWE will be pulling out of Saudi Arabia and cancelling Crown Jewel. They have removed the link for tickets for Crown Jewel as well as the link for the venue from wwe.com. Emergency backup plans call for WWE to move these matches to Survivor Series in case of a cancellation. There are still WWE World Cup qualifying matches advertised for Raw, and it’s unknown if that would be a separate event. Keep it here for updates.

UPDATE: Reached for comment, WWE says the Saudi Arabia show is still on as scheduled. A WWE spokesman said the event should be listen on wwe.com. While it does not have an entry on the “tickets and live events” page, it is still listed under shows. So for now, the show is on. Stay tuned!

Peep This!

Welcome to the PEEP show, and thank you for taking sometime  out of your busy life to see what I have to say.  I have been a avid WWE fan since I could remember. I got the pleasure growing up in the Attitude Era. Which was by far the best era EVER! I took a little break from wrestling, during my late teenage years, and just got back into it at the end of 2016. Even though I was on a little break, I still kept my ear to the ground and was very into the rumors/gossip. Who was failing drug tests? Who was kicked out of WWE? Who is dating who?

Crown Jewel in Jeopardy?

This situation is a mess. If you haven’t heard, Turkish police are alleging that the Saudi government, possibly with the blessing of the Saudi prince, lured journalist Jamal Khashoggi to their consulate in Istanbul and murdered him. Khashoggi is a U.S. resident who lives in Virginia and writes for the Washington Post. He is also vocal critic of the Saudi government and of the prince. There’s been an outcry from citizens and politicians alike to stop doing business with the Saudis.  Trump’s response:

BREAKING NEWS: Kevin Owens Could Miss WrestleMania

In my original post regarding Kevin Owens’ knee surgery, I noted John Pollock’s report that while the hope was that the surgery would be minor and that Owens would only miss a month or two, it’s now being reported that the injury might be a bit more serious. Reports say that those within WWE are fearing that there’s more damage to the knee than they had believed. While there’s still no official diagnosis for the Kevin Owens injury, it’s said that he’ll be out from four to eight months depending on how rehab goes. That timetable means that he might wind up missing WrestleMania, and could be suffering from an ACL tear. I’ll be keeping my ears open on this so stay tuned for more information.

ZEUXIS VS. IO SHIRAI

Since I unfortunately saw a spoiler the other day I know it’s Io Shirai who wins this match, but that’s the only thing I know. I can still look forward to an incredible display from these two, and early on I’m not disappointed. Zeuxis hurts Shirai’s arm and goes to work on it immediately. The crowd is firmly behind Shirai. Zeuxis shows little respect for her much-heralded opponent.

IN-RING PROMO: TOMMASO CIAMPA

Ciampa calls out Velveteen Dream, and Dream comes out and cuts what sounds suspiciously like a face promo. Ciampa brutally says maybe Dream is just not… Tough Enough. That’s COLD. Dream says he’s more man than Ciampa can handle. Out comes… Nikki Cross?!? Hell yeah, give her a title shot! It probably has more to do with Aleister Black, but I want to see her wrestle these guys. The crowd launches into a “TRIPLE THREAT!” chant while Nikki plays with both men.
