Hogan is backstage. Fuck yeah. It’s been long enough.
Almas wins. Mark it.
Prediction: Andrade Cien Almas
Burch looks like a soccer hooligan who has been in his fair share of bar fights. Cole makes his entrance like a face but wrestles like a heel. Burch looks stiff as hell in the ring. He reminds me of Finlay. His Tower of London neckbreaker finisher is really awesome. I was surprised to see Cole kick out of it, but I don’t see any way Burch gets a clean win over Cole.
Nese definitely has the advantage here. Kalisto has the speed, but Nese has surprising speed as well as power, and should be able to to neutralize Kalisto’s offense provided he doesn’t get frustrated. Nese getting frustrated and overconfident has led to big mistakes and thusly to a lot of losses.
I’m sick of Miz. He’s obnoxious and I can’t stand the promotion for his sure-to-be-awful tv show. So he’s a heel, which means the point is to get booed, yet he’s also trying to get people to watch and like his new TV show? Miz sucks and whoever decided to give him a show is fucking stupid.
Last night’s Raw was the first decent-to-good show I can remember in about a month. Why has it been nearly unwatchable lately? I feel like it’s gotten away from what people really want to see, which is people beating the shit out of each other.
No promo from Lashley this week thankfully, instead he and Roman just start beating the shit out of each other. This is how the feud should have been done from the beginning. The crowd booed when Angle said not tonight, save it for Extreme Rules, because it’s still fun to see two huge guys fuck each other up. They’ve only watered it down by having them cut promos on each other, especially because Lashley is god damn horrendous on the mic. The crowd was HOT for this, I was really surprised to see how much they were into this segment. It does feel important when you send the entire locker room out to break up a fight, but I still thought the crowd, especially a big city crowd like Boston, would shit all over it.
It would seems they’re looking to get Kai a win over a recognizable name leading up to a feud with Lacey Evans. The moves aren’t very crisp in this match. Not sloppy, but slow and weak-looking. They each look like they’re standing and waiting for the other to finally do their move. Besides Kai’s finisher, all of the moves looked very ineffective and fake. We know they’re “fake” to a point, but it’s not supposed to look that way.

Drake Maverick opens the show by announcing that Hideo Itami gets a title shot against Cedric Alexander next week. Bitchin.
Maverick is also going to pick TJP’s opponent tonight. I’m feeling Akira Tozawa.
They’re already pouring water on my Team Hell No boner, showing doubt that Kane is sincere in really wanting this reunion. Good promo by the Usos and I really hope and think they will win tonight to make it a triple threat for the Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules. It gives the match a stipulation, and it could be a way to get the titles off of the Bludgeon Brothers without having them lose.
